Sweetly sour.

There's so much I want to write about but time is of the essence. Updates coming soon!

In the meantime...
Hubby's mom and grandparents are sweet enough to be making a trip to our house tomorrow while we're both at work to help us pretty up our yard. Weather permitting of course, but it's the thought that counts. I know it's nothing big but I love coming up with little tokens of appreciation so a little surprise has been left in the fridge for them to enjoy. Some fresh squeezed (let's pretend) lemonade with freshly sliced lemons and a little card that states "Enjoy!"

My own parents and sisters have been cordially invited to make a similar trip in May which I have lovingly deemed "Family Flower Day." And don't you fret, a rain date has been set just in case. I'm already busy thinking up some fun treats for them as well.

And while we're on the subject of my yard (again), I have to take a quick moment to tell you about my surprise in finding daffodils springing up everywhere in our backyard. I don't know how we missed them last year but apparently the previous owners planted a bunch of bulbs.  Surprise!
